Teatro Cristóbal Colón
The Teatro Colón is the most famous and important theater in Bogotá and probably in Colombia. Do you know why? It is very old! In fact, it is a National Monument since 1975, that was built in the year 1885. This Gorgeous theater is a stage of the development of the eschenic and musical arts. It is very famous because of it's beautiful italian style in America.
It's facade has an italian renaissance style, while it's interior can leave you with your mouth widely opened with it's baroque characteristics. This theater belongs to the national forces, who are located just beside the Patria Theater. A few months ago, this patriotic theater was remodelated and reinaugurated for all public. In there, plays, humoristic events and folcloric presentations are made. It is located in the 7th avenue # 106 - 00. This pictures are the 'before' and 'after'!
